I really hope this is still Going to happen.
The county parks department that owns the venue is starting to open parks next Wednesday and to me this looks like a great start. Also this is in Southwest Michigan. Where we DO NOT have the big numbers of this virus. Just the same awful governor
End of July is still 3 months out and I hope this convention still happens

Safe bet conventions are toast this year as are concerts of any kind or anything else where a large crowd will be. All the hype worked and everyone in the country are scared of their own shadow now and that's not going to change anytime soon. Small town festival's probably a no go as well this year.

If Michigan is not open for business ..any chance they move it to Indiana? Not likely. The logistics in getting such a thing done needs a bit more leadtime.

Just for thoughts, look what has happened to Sweden if reports are true, they opened up and now virus has taken over again resulting in new deaths....IF THIS IS TRUE... anyone know how to verify this?

Few miles from my house. Was hoping to unload 50+ yrs of collecting . But this governor is not a working mans friend. So I expect bad days ahead for the state.

If Michigan is not open for business ..any chance they move it to Indiana? Not likely. The logistics in getting such a thing done needs a bit more leadtime. You would only be moving the location . Everything else is already in motion . Michigan would be the host for the NTA. ISTA would be hosting Michigan Trappers . I may be overstepping my boundaries , as I'm not a officer of the ISTA. But I can see it happening.

Not good, I would not go, pretty decent ppl at trap convention, not like some real high risk ppl come. But still anything crowd. An outstate. I doubt it. I wouldnt go, I think lot covid stuff news exaggerated, I don't think around here, it going get lot more stuff back normal than is now, a lil, 4 th July stuff, fairs, everytning shut down summer , there talk about town n country days in this town, I doubt it , I can't see bars open up anytime. Soon, if so, covid come back

Moving the location means finding a fairgrounds/convention center with open dates. Get contracts made u[ and signed. Finding hundreds of rental tables. Food vendors. Volunteers to set up the grounds, man the gates and build the demo area and other duties. All with two months or less notice. A lot of the burden of putting on an NTA is upto the hosting organization.
