.To set DPs on frozen ground, in barns etc...Nail 3 2x4, about 8 inches long, together, forming a block of wood, or get scrap blocking cut off. This block needs
to be about 4.5 inches high. Drive a fence staple in the side of the top 2x4. This works with the DPs that have an earth stake on the base. Drop the earth stake down thru the staple
and the trap is held upright and ready for a coon. BS

Put a cable on it wrap it around tree or barn post and just lay it down coon don't care they will stick their grubby paws into it. Aren't some dp designed to lay flat.
