I built this deck last year and I need to run electricity from the back of my house to the underneath of it and install a ceiling fan in the gazebo. I also have to replace some siding still above the upper level where I tore into the house to install a ledger board... and then I have to put a new electric fence in around the property for our two mini schnauzers.

… and then I'm praying it stops raining long enough in Missouri to go to a field and get enough dirt and dry it in the driveway to make about 100 lbs of waxed dirt.

I’ve cleaned up my stuff from last season; made a bazillion disposable stakes; made some snares; made some DP bait; full metal jacketed 2 dozen coyote traps last night. Have yet to clean up trapping spaces.

My wife and I are taking a gardening class. Just finished our end of term paper yesterday. I wrote and she nagged. It’s done. I’ll let her do the presentation.

Going to build a 4 foot tumbler to replace the dryer I use now. It actually worked good, just can't do many at a time. Waxed sand will be made later this fall as I get the flake wax from our state convention to save on shipping. If it gets cancelled then I will have to go to plan B. Until then I will park my butt on a mower for the next 6 months. Have mowed 30 so far, 600 to go.

Tuning & treating traps, cutting brush & saplings, splitting wood, scouting for Turkey, yard work and a dozen other things.
Wife & I are retired so this stay-at-home order hasn't affected us other than seeing/visiting family. Pretty much our regular routine is staying home and we rarely eat out.

Had wood and notion to build shave horse for the past 4 years.
Started pecking away last week between other things

drill & auger for leg holes-

mocking up, where do I put yoke & foot treadle-

That seems to work well. Uprights are scrap wood used for mock up. Now I know where to drill holes on good uprights-

Still more to do before finished with this project

Hern, I will be doing the same thing this summer in between hay cuttings. I always wanted one of those. That one looks good. I have been making a few wood shingles and that would sure be nice to work on.

Other than that I have been super busy. We live on a farm so the time away from work is always busy. I have built a few fences recently but am now starting on reworking some body traps and cleaning, dyeing, waxing canine traps. I have to make a lot of dry dirt and will start on that soon. I have a garden that keeps me busy most of the summer too. Lots to do. Every day is different.

Just passin through

Hern I really like what you are building, been thinking about trying to build one also. One of these days soon I will try. Wife wants me to build a picnic table, and fire pit and hammock stand this weekend and got parts showing up for my Max4 rebuild so hopefully get a few things knocked out. Got a buddy coming up in two weeks to try and do some bear hunting. Need to get busy.
