I know it's a fine line and that we as a nation should be concerned with loss of liberty to gain temperary safety! I agree with everything Trump has done to curb the damage that could have been caused by this virus. I don't agree with some of the things the individual states are doing! Your govenors do not have the athority to take your rights! The guidelines have to be applied equally and temporarily! Kentucky just lost a case this week already and is going back to federal court already at federal level to stop the missuse of the guidelines. I'm sure Mississippi and Michigan are next!? https://firstliberty.org/news/covid-19-religious-liberty-attacks/

Just seems weird they can draft you against your will to go into combat in a different country (and likely die as in WW2) but they ask you to hole up, watch Netflix, spend some extra time with your family and eat Bon Bons in an attempt to curb inner U.S deaths and everyone goes nuts. Hmmmm.

I think the people telling you what you can and cannot buy or do that has no impact on the virus is the problem. Governors banning what drugs that you cannot be offered is pointless and unnecessary along with a sail boat is ok but a motor boat is not allowed. You cannot plant a garden or buy building supplies when you have all the time in the world to do repairs.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Its not a religious issue. People have a right to assemble. Read the first amendment.
So whats the exit strategy from this horrible pandemic that is killing very few??????????????????
Eventually we will all be exposed. A virus never goes away.

It's called the greater good. It does not give them the right to put a larger number of people in peril. They have other ways of gathering such as on line .But they want to pretend that there faith is under attack to make them seem important. By the way it is not just churches it is any large gathering.

I agree Brianmall!!!
But people Gathering is just stupid right now. I think the Church members put many at risk.
But large factories who are still allowed to operate, with many more people involved than most church congregations, area allowed to carry on as usual? People, this isn't about protecting anyone, its ALL about taking freedoms! Never let a crisis go to waste is one of the mottos of the left. Fear is power.

How do they operate the BLACK HELICOPTERS and still maintain Federal social distancing guidelines ? w They mostly fly around here towards fall to see who's growing weed in their back yard. They should have legalized it and save all that helicopter fuel.

I don't like it that they tell them folk they can't meet..Terrible thing.. But you would think they could figure out how to do it withing some reasonable guide lines..Also it's not like there telling them they will never be able to meet again ever. Huh! Maybe they should just let them all do their have to go to meeting. But make them be required to wear a big scarlet V on their clothes somewhere so rest of us know. Wonder how they'd like it if a store owner ask to see their religious preference ID. Then said sorry you can't purchase from our store until the virus passes.. Bet they'd be screaming then..Maybe they'd have to get that guy that won't bakes the cakes for gays feed them..

Calvin, you and your buddy still grabbing the guns of people who are carrying? Every gun I saw HIM grab was given back to the owner. And you know as well as I, that was made in point to the open carry discussion as to how easy it is to disarm someone who open carries (horrible tactical advantage). For the record, I believe just about everyone should be able to carry and don't agree with most of the guns laws on the books today...let alone all the new gun laws they are trying to enact. "The right to bear arms shall not be infringed" PERIOD!
