I just had a few of these "Hoodies" under my window and was able to sneak a couple of my famously blurred photos of them. I thought that they were cool enough to share. I could do better if someone would clean my windows. (I don't do windows )

The problem with the windows is that I have to take the inside storms off and take them apart and that is not easy and them I have to get up on a TALL ladder to do the outer ones and then the first sprinkle with a South wind messes them up all over again. I do have a couple that are clean but it is tough to get the birds to pose in front of them. Opening the windows is the best idea but they spook so much easier then and then I don't have a very solid rest for the camera. I figure the dirt gives me some camouflage and some extra insulation in the winter. My camera is not high quality either. Some day I might get more serious since it is a challenge to get a close up .

Why don't you hand the camera to trapstickman and let him go outside and get a close-up?

I've enjoyed watching the difference types of waterfowl we get up here last week I heard cranes somewhere close by but never seen them which took me back in time to when I was a kid living on the highline of Montana.
The ducks and geese are back in force also but are more of a challenge to see on Spring creek close by unless they are on a pothole pond keep up the good work on capturing them with your camera ! Allan

i like to watch em feed but not as much as the eagles seem to like to eat them.watching a group working fish together is something to see.
