Do I need to change my bait for the warmer spring and summer months? Mostly been using Caven’s predator bait. For Coyotes

From my testing a really good bait will be just as effective no matter what time of year it is . But with that said I've tested a fair number of popular baits, some I've even caught a few coyotes on, that after testing a lot of stuff and doing some comparative testing didn't fit into that good category in my area.

We have fire ants here and there are two things that work for me. One is a porous chunk of bone staked down with bait or lure smeared in to and on the bone, also the Zager pipe set it slows the ants down by only allowing them at the bait from the ends, mostly the top.

Zeiger uses a plastic pipe. A metal pipe will emit A strong magnetic field. The plastic pipe does not or PVC pipe. When the ant is exposed to the magnetic field they emit pheromones. That brings more ants. PVC pipe reduces the number of Ants coming to the set.The bone you used will have the same affect.
