Sick of all the corona talk...let’s see some 10/22 builds. Got one I’d like to mod out, need ideas. Really just want to plink and squirrel with it but hey why not do it in style?

That’s pretty slick adc! She bought it factory?? What model/package is that?? I agree on laminate stocks, I really like the look too. I had a ruger 25/06 with a laminate “safari” stock that was pretty sweet but I ended up selling it:/ Dang squirrels are social distancing too?

Everyone has a different opinion of what accurate is. For me, 50 yards is as far as I will shoot a 22. Deer, squirrel, doesn't matter. 50 yards for me. My stock 10-22 will shoot cci 40 grain, standard velocity, lead roundnose ammo, into a quarter with 10 shot groups at 50 yards.
If your goal is a rifle to hunt with my answer is you don't need any expensive race gun parts. If you like to compete, or just get a thrill out of dime size groups at 50 yards then spend the extra money.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Mine doesn't need "modded" out. About 25 years ago I went against the advice of all the experts and took the trigger apart. Replaced a spring and honed the sear a bit with a whet stone finishing with a razor hone. trigger is about two pounds now. Poor rifle got to looking like it had been in a cement mixer from all the hard use it has had so I pulled the barreled action, (cant remember the last time I did it), Gave a complete disassembly and cleaning. Then scraped all the old finish off, wet ironed out the dents, sanded it down and put tru oil on it. Old gun has always shot good. Now its pretty again. Pretty nice for 42 years old I think. Nice job Danny

Its factory but I don't know if they are still made or she found a new old stock one. It came from a gun show. I bought the scope and mount.
