My dad built a sweet, little .50 cal flintlock for my wife a couple years ago. I figure it is time that she gets a powder horn to go with it. Got most of the body work done a few weeks ago. Started scratching a design into it last night. Many of the old horns had their owner's names engraved into them. The horns were filled from community horns, so you wanted to be sure you got your horn back.

Nice work! Funny how it's harder to find horns these days. Used to get them from the local farmers but today most cattle don't have horns anymore. Looking forward to seeing it finished!
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
