I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

FHA has started to update the catalogs so it looks like plans are to proceed as scheduled.

Saga released a statement saying they've listened to the buyers and everyone and are proceeding with their sale in early April so I'm sure fha ain't canceling now.

With encouragement from the trade? LOL Now they're almost sounding like the old NAFA propaganda machine! There is NOTHING encouraging about the fur trade for the fore seeable future.

Yes, if they sell 100%...Buts that's still no higher than I sold part of my first week of the season coon for GREEN....They were cherry picked 3X, and 4X though.

AG prices are dropping, fat cattle dropped over .30 in the last week. Many other commodities have plummeted as well. Stock market lower than the '87 crash. China is in complete chaos. What in God's name would lead anyone to think the fur industry is in any way thriving, when in fact it's barely alive at the moment!

A better question might be, will they wish they would have cancelled.

Remember when NAFA cancelled the feb/march auction just to save money. Of course, that wasn't the story. FHA should have just moved both Auctions to MAY, avoided the flu season, and saved the money of running two Auctions.

Maybe they will prove me wrong?

From NAFA today,
NAFA’s online broadcast of the auction will be used for the entire FHA and NAFA catalogues to allow buyers to participate in the auction remotely. Following the auction, all unsold goods in NAFA’s collection will be posted online for Private Treaty offers at www.NAFA.ca.

We will continue to keep you informed of any significant developments in this regard. In the meantime, NAFA looks forward to welcoming you here in Toronto.

NO is going to happen.... Just got email about it. But you know if you go to the auction in Canada … you may not get back into this country.
