As far as I know, the sale is a go. I called FHA just a few days ago and they made all my reservations for me in Toronto to attend the sale. I do get daily updates from the airline telling me they'll wave all fees if I'd rather not go.

Without actual bidders on the floor It's not much of a auction. You need In house competition not some on line crap. Not true, I am currently liquidating the contents of my mother’s house, using online auction. Things i would throw away are selling like hot cakes, and the auctioneer states online auctions are bringing 10%-20% more than live auctions. That may be true but your not selling FUR. And the other guy that's selling heavy equipment Isn't selling fur either.

With travel from Europe including containers being banned will that affect the sale? Ban starts Friday. The ban is a US and Europe travel ban. Toronto and nafa and FHA and the fur - all of that is in Canada. Different situation.

All I know is china wouldn't take a container of coon fom a buyer who ships there regularly.
He told me he wasnt buying anymore coon because the ones he had couldnt be shipped.
Same with his deer hides(different buyer)
China wouldnt except the shipment
IF IDIOTS GREW ON TREES THIS PLACE WOULD BE AN ORCHARD !

With today’s technology , buyers don’t have to be in the room to participate. They can be in their hospital b d in Wuhan and still buy fur.
Boco - if you believe all the US media crap, Canada probably shouldn’t let the US buyers in either. LOL Amen to that!

What if China permanently bans import of wild animal anything after they kinda pinned COVID-19 on wild animals? YIKES! Could you imagine no China in the fur market? Maybe they will just ban "raw" products and their yearning for wildlife will then be focused on clothing instead of food... gotta stay positive.
