Not to go on a side trail but I have often wondered if the rat river trapper may have roamed the valley of the headless. Also some of Raymond Thompsons stories he talks about coming across empty camps that seemed oddly empty. I wondered if the RRT was around those areas at times too.

As crazy as it is I think folks today can be too educated in a way. To illustrate a friend and I was talking about when we were kids. We would make a knife, good, bad or indifferent but we made it.
