Don't own 1 but have shot a few. It's a.good caliber but nothing to throw away. All the old stand bys...lol It has got a lot of people into shooting longer range just because of all the hype. Not a bad thing, we need all we can get to take up shooting these days.

Don't have one, but maybe sometime. A man always needs another rifle.

Actually the "real" 6.5 would be the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser. That is the one I would like one of.

Actually the "real" 6.5 would be the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser. That is it, but like ohers have said the 264 win is the only 6.5 call I have, actually 3 in the model 70. The newest is the all weather extreme good shooting guns and do the job out to 650 the farthest I've took it to on a whitetail. I'm looking into a 6.5× 284 Norma for a new distance be gun for something different, just have to figure out how I want to build it out

6.5 creedmore is like meth to a gun owner........ I bought one new, a savage axis. Within a box of shells it was shooting dime sized groups. So, I decided to chase the dragon some more and bought another savage model 11 package. It also shoots very small groups.
Now is where it gets expensive, I had an idea, but haven't followed through yet. I need to build one.
Remington 788 is the action. Haven't totally decided on the barrel yet. Boyd's makes a really nice adjustable stock for the 788 Haven't decide on glass yet, I was leaning towards a Nikon monarch.
My gun Smith talked me out of it, he convinced me that for the money it wouldn't really be any better than what I had all ready.
I have to also confess I have considered an AR

I have no desire for one. But you need people buying them so they sell or trade in the stuff I like to buy. X2 I don’t have or need one. I got the REAL 6.5. The 264 Win Mag!! I have that as well in a pre 64 Winchester model 70 that my dad bought new in 1960 and she still gets the job done just fine X3. I have a 264 win mag also. Im good to 500 yards .
