I ring mine out and hang it on a line in the garage with a fan on it till dry flipping it often. It is probably pretty cold where you are I would make sure there is some heat, not to hot but enough to allow the fur to dry without spoiling.

Yes what inline said sorry, not hot if it is to cold out side it will take forever to dry. You want it warmer than it is out side, if that makes sense.

I wash everything after I skin it out. This cleans it and makes it very presentable to the buyer, but as for drying it, after I wash each skin I squeeze the water out 2-3 times starting from the nose all the way down the tail. Once you get most of the water out this way, grab from the tail end and pop it like a towel, you will see all the water in a mist form come off the animal. Do this about 5-10 times or until you dont see very much water coming off. I usually do this from the tail end and then turn around and pop from the head end. This makes for a very quick dry. If colder than freezing than do the described methods above, otherwise just hang somewhere high outside and it will usually be dry the next day. Also before hanging to dry take a fur comb and comb the fur against the flow to fluff the wet spots out to dry faster. One thing to keep in mind though, if you have any tears, or holes be careful while popping the fur out. It can stretch the hole or tear. This mostly applies ot rats, which I am very careful when I pop out. Hope this helps.

pat, if your in Vernal, you've a pretty dry climate. Even if it is cold out, it will probably dry well with a fan on it. If it would freeze out in the garage, it would take much longer to dry.

After washing I get all the water out of the fur I can by starting at the head, hold it in left hand and pull the fur through my closed right hand. After doing this a few times I put the fur on a wire stretcher fur side out. You do not have to fasten fur just pull down over a wire stretcher. I also comb the fur as mentioned above. Put a fan on it and it does not take long to dry at all.
