So after a 35 year hiatus I've started trapping again... after coyotes and bobcats but decided to put out a couple of beaver sets since there's a large dam near the house... scored this morning. Pretty happy... coyotes are still elusive for me tho...

Once you’ve got that beaver skinned put a big hunk of it down a dirt hole and pin it down .

It's good to be trapping again...nice catch!

Keep your boots dry and your powder too.

I remember when a fur check was reality.....now I'm just trapping for the love of it.

Best Regards,

JT

cut the back legs and tail off and tie a rope to them and drag them around and to a good spot to make a couple sets.just make sure to cover the bait so it can't be seen from the air.good luck.
