Thanks guys...
oh yes sorry I am currently shooting a Daniels Defense v7pro .223
It’s shooting the 73 grain pills real well so that’s what I’m sticking with for now and the fur damage is very minimal
Got a Pulsar trail xq38 on top of the rifle and running the FoxPro fusion... using mostly vocals nothing fancy going on other then doing a ton of scouting and figuring out where the dogs are before moving in on em!

Killed 80+ coyotes over the call last winter so hopefully the trend continues

Nice Job, impressive deer you got on your Instagram. Are you burning threw batteries quick on the cold nights. I have a older Firestorm and that would last about a set or 2 and die, ended up with a load of rechargeables but they have since gone bad.

Batteries are lasting all night I have a set of foxpro rechargeable batteries and they have been running strong for about 4 years already!

And I’m shooting the hornady 73 grain ELD match bullet... Not really designed for hunting purposes but dead coyotes don’t lie and they have been doing better then anything else I’ve tried so that’s what I’m sticking to!

Don't stop there. What muzzle velocity are those ELDs coming out at? You think they will be minimal damage on fox? Maybe you've popped a fox or two with them? Are you reloading or factory ammo?

I’ve never ran it through a chrono to check out my true speeds and I don’t have a box infront of me to see what it says but one things forsure it’s not the best on Fox!
I think you’ll have to step down caliber wise to find something Fox friendly or find some soft points to try out!

Strictly running factory loads and am super happy with the performance!

Trying to get into a little night calling myself to help up my numbers this year. Do you night hunt just like making a daytime set as far as getting away from the pickup and setting up like a normal call?

For the most part yes get a lil ways from the truck and set-up with the call out infront and start shooting coyotes haha

You can get away with a little bit more at night so that’s why I choose to stand up on all my sets
