We will await the vote. Once they vote to leave there is another year of discussion with the EU to unravel the current trade arrangements and then the UK will need to negotiate all new trade deals with the EU nations and us as well as many other nations. I hope they have the political capacity to accomplish all that needs to be done and not with a long time frame to do it. We have been in discussion with Mexico, Canada and China for over 2 years now and have nothing in finalized writing at this time.

I was reading a book about Sweden during the thirty years war and I believe it was the King Gustavus Adolphus who was talking about how difficult it was to get the swedes to fight, it was very difficult to call up men to arms and get them to report to the army but once the men were gathered and had proper motivation they were a terrifying and nearly unstoppable force.

It is an interesting subject, thou.....and I am glad at the results of their election. I was glad Trump won but we really face annihilation ourselves due to the spread of liberalism. Last election was rather close.....anyway, as long as I can breath I will not roll over to progressive/socialists when they control the USA. It may not be that far away....look around, how many states are already under their thumb? I do not see that turning around but rather the total # is growing....places like Colorado and Idaho have been invaded. I dont think you know the avg englishman,I spent time in the midlands living and working in Corby Northants.This was in the mid 70's.Big steel mill in corby at the time,opened up by a scottish company stewards and LLoyd.They imported the scottish to work in the steel mills in the midlands.These Northern scottish people are one tough bunch of real hard drinking hard fighting men,from the same stock that worked for the HBC in the Northern Canada back in the day.The HBC preferred the scottish because of their toughness and able to withstand cold climate and harsh conditions.Scottish workers settled all over britain to work in the coal pits and steel mills.A good portion of "white" working class brits are of this stock.And they are scrappers and drinkers,tough and clannish I can assure you that.
