So my oldest boy (9), really showed an interest in trapping this year. He used my dogproofs and caught 24 coon. He caught, I skinned. I run a few coyote traps and he also really likes that, so he's been helping with all the lures/baits on those. He's got an otter tag, so we just put out a few water sets, and caught his first rat. But for xmas i thought i'd set him up with his own buckets, not that we need another, but i guess wouldn't hurt to have a remake bucket, someday he'll need his own. I am a machinist so I made everything i could, hopefully that may mean something to him someday. And i enjoy making it anyway. Some kids just have a knack for the outdoors and you can just see it, he definately does. Should have some fun years ahead, Hopefully the youngest (7) gets into it as well. [Linked Image]

He's off to a good start!

By the looks of things, I'd guess that you're either former military or Lutheran. :-)

Like I said i'm a machinist, details are my job. Its funny when i try to do something simple like build a feedbunk, its a bloody nightmare, my brain is trained for +/- .001 tolerances.

When you do the design work you CAN change your tolerances, great looking work that will last for years if it does not get forgotten and lost at a set location.
