Does a old half rotten an somewhat damp corncob make a good scent holder inside a pocket set? I found bunch laying around, otherwise I search for weed stalk or dead stick if can find

Bring some home and dry them out, they hold sent better when dry.

They were partially dry, in pocket, they draw moisture, lure really absorbs in them. Not sure if that or weed stalk in pocket with scent is better , I don't think coon smell it far, I also use fish oil. I didn't buy much scent this season

Use a section of dried Mullein stem.
Collect the stems when you collect the leaves for your trap pan covers.
