On any of the doors on a 00 F250 super duty xlt crew cab
I'm getting power to all locks but no locks are engaging. Doesn't matter if I'm locking/unlocking from driver or passenger door or key fob.
Any ideas

double check ur door switch.my Silverado was getting getting power to the doors ,but windows didn't work, those rocker switchs go bad on drivers door,

Same situation. Found broken ground wire inside rubber boot between door and cab.

On my '97 F150 sometimes the passenger door locks/unlocks, sometimes it doesn't with the switch on the driver's side. Modern convenience PITA!!

Alan, was there enough wire left that you were able to just strip it and fasten it, or did you have to add some wire?

I did not add wire. I used a crimp on connector to reattach.

That's good you didn't need to add or replace wire

Wires are good fuses are good. Do you think it really would be all 4 actuators?

thanks. Looks like it is a resistor inside the actuator. People are taking them apart (very carefully) and wrapping foil around for a better connection then have to rig the unit back together. I found a 4 pk of actuators on amazon for $35 will be here Wednesday.With the amount of time and energy for a ghetto fix it is better to replace the entire unit. Sure I spend $35 but not having all that extra work for a ghetto fix is worth it.
