One dead coon, meh. Two, especially in a short time frame is alarming to me. More than that I would be calling the game warden quick. Make sure you keep any pets and stuff absolutely away from them.

Could be a host of different things, none of them good. Not surprising with the price of coon the past few years not many bother trapping them and the population has exploded.

Possibly Canine Distemper, hopefully not Rabies. Or, as said earlier, somebody put out some posion. X2. Distemper really hits them when they get overpopulated. Not saying that’s your problem, but I have to keep their numbers Down or I have sick coons everywhere.
