Fisher Man trapper Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 2,916 Adirondacks, NY	My understanding is that is only for a marten subspecies west of I-5 along the coast. Cascades marten unaffected.

beaverpeeler trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 11,286 Oregon	Nobody targets the Humboldt marten here. This whole issue was pushed not for scientific reasons, just to further erode trapping rights in Oregon since they fail at the ballot every time. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
