He's a perennial suck-up to power. Surprised he didn't last, since that seems to be what is wanted by his boss.

On the contrary. Bolton is a straight shooter who will give you his opinion whether you want it or not. I enjoyed his outspokenness when he was at the UN ...BUT......the guy is a war monger IMO. That doesn't mesh with Trump at all.

You ARE correct, but why did Trump hire him in the first place and fire him the day before 9/11 Anniversary? Makes our leader look like a "hip-shooter"!

Surprised he was put in really ! And surprised he lasted this long with his attitude to marching all over the world to show others who we are.
Those times are gone, don't need men on the ground any more to make a point militarily !

Figure Trump is trying to find talkers who can negotiate with out a lot of bluster for power, but still look solid, going to be tough though not a lot of that kind of person around in that experience for security.

Who cares about the date. Trump isn’t a politician so he does stuff when he thinks it needs to be done. He doesn’t seem to care much about how something “looks” he just want stuff done. No PC no BS

I think it more coincidence than because of the day, and agree with MT above, people seem to want to hold Trump to the example of given politicians and he's definitely not one.

A big reason people can't follow what he's up to, however if you watch how he does things you will begin to see that his business back ground has a lot to do with his decision making process's. He watch's, listen's and if he likes it he moves to make sure people hear what he has to say about it.

If he does not like it, he's quiet about it, then it's over the person's out without notice and he moves on to another. Just like a manufacture hiring a head guy !

If he were a politician he would have five or six stand ins waiting to replace, but he is not, so his cabinet is always in a chaotic mess to most of us.

If he is not a politician why was he trying to have the Taliban at Camp David during the week of 9-1-1? He is all about timing and media. Wheeling and dealing is a lot about bluster and being a show horse. We need a 'work horse" for a leader with all the balloons floating in the air. Political policies and principles aside we are dealing with an administration that is not off course, they never knew what course they should be on. "If you don't know where you are going, any road you take will get you there"

Trump hired him because he didn't know anybody else to hire. He's not part of the Washington machine and doesn't know the who's who of DC. That's why he had so many personnel changes early in the administration.

Probably part of the reason he has had so many personal changes in all aspects of his life. He can not take rejection and being able accept that others have the right to do and say as they choose to is not a natural thing for egotistical personalities with an inferiority complex.

I loved it when Fleet Farm and Menards had a sale on the incandescent bulbs..... People would come in and buy cases of them, because the "government will put a ban on them". Kind of reminded me of the ammo hoarders in Obamas administration.

Me, I'm looking for the LED bulbs, which have really come down in price, last longer, and are more efficient.
