I finished 39 qts last night at 2am, this makes 80 qts so far this year! I accidentally planted too many mater's! My new steamer canner with a temp gauge works awesome!

fertilizer equals cow manure lol. cant beat those tomatoes during the winter time in chili, goulash sure beats store bought ones.

Way, way ahead of us here. I have the biggest and best vines I have ever had, but the tomatoes are coming late. I usually start about the 20th of August and finish about the 3rd week of September. This year I have so far only picked a dozen or so for fresh eating. I do 120 quarts or so per year of salsa, juice and stewed tomatoes. I have mostly Celebrities and they are not showing any wilt as of yet. Big rain coming Tuesday and that should move some along. We need some more heat here. We are running a week of about 2-5 degrees below average right now and our corn needs more heat as well.
Bryce Celebrity is my favorite tomato too
