Over on www.exoticanimalsforsale.net, there is 2 camels for $5000.00, 1 for $5500.00, 2 for $6500.00, 2 for $8500.00, 1 for $8800.00, 1 for $9500.00, 1 for $10,000.00, 1 for $12,000.00, 1 for $14,000.00, 1 for $15,000.00 and 1 for $35,000.00. Most of the cheaper camels are calves. That cheap camel meat in the somali store is probably imported, from other camelids like llama or alpaca or fake.
