I attended a demo the other day where the trapper was very adamant about how he felt the Snuggy was one of the best brackets out there. He ran them onto small boards and placed them on trails where coons were moving He especially like them in late season.
So.... what do other people think?

PS. Photos would be great.

don't know what a Snuggy is, but I weld a MB bracket on 1/2" angle iron 6" long and sharpen the end that goes into the ground I do the same thing.... take a MB coni-bracket and I weld it to a 3/8ths inch rod with a washer welded to the rod to keep it from spinning. Place the 220 in the bracket which I drive in and usually leave a couple inches off the ground. Put these on the coon trails in grass. A very sure set for a few coons. Some other critters too.

Dakota Lines offers the Cold Creek Snuggy in 2 sizes: 110-160 160-330 What I don't know is which size they'd recommend if you were running the 159-160 as both sizes cover this size trap. Looking at the picture, the 160-330 size is significantly larger. https://www.dakotalinesnares.com/co...nuggy-coni-mounts?variant=18606050082931I still think Dustin Drews has a great product, it was infinitely adjustable and allowed you to attach the trap in multiple places on the trap: top/bottom/side...…...along with vertical adjustment and it would fit on a large variety of stake sizes.

Any system that holds your bodygrippers down on the ground in a trail set is NOT good IMO. Hausers system holds the conibear at what ever height you want1-4 inches

up a neat adjustable bracket that used the snuggy and a vertical adjustment.
For adjustable height, i use an electric fence wire bracket on a 3/8 diameter fiberglass Rod from tractor supply.
