I am against going to war with Iran, however if they continue to provoke us, we should continue to tighten the noose on them economically. If the provocations come to a point that we must act we should strike them so hard that they don't know what hit them..
One question; when Obama gave all of that money to them, did he have Congressional approval?

I'd rather not. But if we're going to do it, we need to turn them into a smoldering hole in the ground and then get out. None of this 17 years and counting undeclared war stuff.

I'm not excited about war but even Obama said we cant let them have nuclear weapons. If we have to have a war to stop them let's get it over with as fast and efficiently as possible. Just shooting a drone down isn't reason enough by itself. We can make them pay 100 times over for shooting a drone down without a war though.

My thoughts are that clandestine activities will happen soon if they have not already begun. Covert operations will have the Iranians afraid of their own shadows!
I don't believe there will be an all out assault with GI boots on the ground anytime soon!

I believe Iran deserves a good whuppin,but the problem is the international community is not on board with what the US is doing.Especially the Chinese,Russians and Europeans.
USA is basically moving unilaterally,unlike past conflicts.

Why not just send a dozen Cruise Missiles into the Iran Parliament Building , when all 290 members of the Iranian Parliament are in full session. With all the leaders gone, their Army would fall fast.

There are over 25,000 Jews and over 300,000 Christians in Iran that the government will not allow to leave. I would guess those 300k likely have a stronger relationship with the Lord as compared to 300k claimed Christians in the US.

I think we will be lobbing some cruise missiles over there in the next few days. Probably hit some of their navy yards, barracks and nuclear refinement targets.

The older I get the more I think in terms of aftermath and how it affects Americans. PTSD, suicides, PTSD induced homelessness and domestic violence. Those of us old enough to remember Vietnam also continue to see those aftershocks. Wars are sometimes necessary, but nations then try to sweep ex-soldiers under the rug. Peace is cheaper in terms of human lives effected in THIS country.

If all politician’s kids and grand kids get trained at the grunt level and serve at the grunt level, in actual combat field positions, then I’ll support the political efforts for war. Until that time, however, I’m not in favor of seeing one more American risk their life or post-war life for a political solution gone wrong.

The euroweenies are actually making things worse and making military action more likely.

They are so terrified of Iran that they are actively working WITH Iran to circumvent US sanctions.

If they could grow a pair and join the sanctions it would really put the squeeze on the mullahs without needing to resort to violence.

But, as with any bully, eventually someone has to swat him down. We all know who that won't be.
