Very interesting thank you Jeff for bringing us along I'm sure the market is a very eye opening experience with a wide variety of plants and animals offered for sale. BTW how are your bees holding up this spring ?
We have about a foot of snow and it's rather cold for spring at 12 above but feels like 0
Stay Safe out there !
Allan

Thanks Jeff, I never thought I would like to go there but it looks like a cool place. Now I have questions lol.

1. How was the food?

2. How do the people treat us Mericans?

3. Are lodging and food cost reasonable?

4. Could you tell if there Army was building up and getting ready to attack Canada. grin

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Catch22

1.The food was amazing so many choices, of fish, meat and vegies and fruit. One of my favorite things about the place.

2.The people there love Americans, and American culture. About every other person is wearing a NewYork or LA shirt, and listen to American music, and speak english. I never had a bad word from anyone in three trips there. I like it much better than Thailand.

3. Food and lodging were cheap you can stay in a nice place for $25-$50 US or a 5 star hotel for $100. Can eat most anything, even seafood for just a few bucks. Coming from expensive Alaska, it was dirt cheap.

4.And yes they were getting ready to invade Canada, you see all those women getting ready in the video.

There were three people standing there with those small white shopping bags attached to a stick and waved over the food constantly to shoo the flies. They just stopped to get my food.

Not to hijack your post jeff but in some wetmarkets they will also hang those real small ceiling fans over top also to keep the flies from lighting on the food. Olongapo is a prime example, also quezon city. Of the 6 islands ive been on they use many methods including paipai or pamaypay the hand fans. Also the method jeff told

Mac its all pleasure. I wanted to travel before I get too old to enjoy it. Also looking at retirement in a new place. I spent over 35 years in a small Alaskan village, and life gets harder here when your older. That easy island living sure is tempting. compared to chopping wood here every day. Not to mention the instant poverty when ever my body starts breaking down, and need a hospital or old folks home. I think I can do much better than the US system, of take everything you have then throw you in a government run facility to be miserable until I die. I think I have a better plan.

Now there's a good idea! What a great carcass market, how could we get our coons, muskrats and beaver there? But I may stick with Simon & Seaforts or Humpy's for the fish. Great video Jeff!
