Anyone have a preferred rabbit bait? They are all over my garden and I haven't even planted yet.

Choot'em Choot'em lol. I've had good luck with apples that I put salt on.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

+1 ^^^
Shooting is the most consistent way of harvesting. Will have to try the salt trick. Thanks!

From my own experiences, sweet apples work better than tart, sometimes all it takes to go from refusal to entry is turning the cage 90° and larger cage traps are better than smaller. Caught many cottontails in coon cage traps, some in bunny traps and none in squirrel traps.

Bon chance!

Sweet corn on the cob if you're using bait piles for shooting or cage traps. Dry corn works too. Alfalfa or grass hay doesn't hurt either. They're gonna be looking for GREEN after winter.
