I'm into the arctic/wilderness trapping stuff recently. "Mink, Mary and Me" by Chick Ferguson, "Sam O. White, Alaskan" by Jim Rearden, "Above the Arctic Circle" by James Carroll. and about fifty others!

Lure making: "Musk, Mystery and Misconceptions" by Russ Carman, hands down the best lure making book I've read.

I’m currently re-reading my Lew and Charlie books, simple but interesting stories of a time when honor and integrity still counted for something.

Forty Seven Days... a great read about General Pershing's arrival to the front in WW1 when in 47 days they changed and won the war because of a different approach. Great stories of untested Americans who eventually came to out do the French and English in the fight.

Great Read. Trapping books are reading about work. When you have time to read you should reflect on something else.

I also found all three of Scot H. Dahm’s recent editions very informative, a lot of work went into each of these, worth a read for sure.

And in honor of Vietnam Nam Veterans Day I’ll suggest this one by Stormin’ Norman, a genuine American hero, and if you do, pay attention to the chapters pertaining to his second tour in Country. He was in charge of the 1/6 Battalion 198th Infantry where he earned the nickname. That was also my outfit.
