when that water is at flood stage and looks like rolling chocolate, any worm will work fished right up by the edge in any eddy. catch one or two and move down to the next one. I think a lot of people spend to much time in one spot when trout fishing. its like small creek fishing channel cats. catch a couple out of a pool move to the next one.

My kids say piece of worm and garlic powerbait bounced off the bottom. They set my line up for me and we all hit our limits when we go out. Haven't used an actual "lure" since my younger days.

My favert one is a panther martin black body, yellow dots and gold spinner. Right behind that is a panther martin yellow body red dots with gold spinner in rivers and silver spinner in lakes. 3rd would me a mapps with gold spinner with red plastic on the hook shank. 4th would be a castmaster copper, 5th would be a repala Rainbow trout color. My favert way to fish is a worm and salamon egg, on a hook. If I can't catch any fish with those lures or bait there are probly no trout wear I fish. I fish rainbows, browns, and Brooks .
