That is by far the best way to eat them.We catch so many that I wont do that with all of them,,but I will take the twelve inchers and up and clean them that way.

I am out of all fish. I have not been able to buy any perch, walleye, or halibut all winter. Cannot find any. I will buy 10 pounds of commercially caught Lake Erie perch right now if I could find it.

Its illegal to sell here in Michigan.

Some people have been caught and fined more than the profit.

The daily limit is 25 or 50. Pending the area your fishing.

Make sure you know which is which.

If you are wanting reproduction from the yellow perch in your ponds, at ice out cut a 5-6 foot conifer, attach cinder block to base and marker float to top and drop it into the pond for spawning substrate. Remove the tree in early summer after eggs hatch.
