Received a call and made a quick trip to the hospital Sat. Sis fell at home and was admitted to the hospital. She was bleeding from the nose because of being low on blood. While in the hospital she was found to be A-fib, meaning her heart would stop or slow way down at times. She was fitted with a temporary pacemaker. Later on today she is to have this remover, given an MRI, and have a full time pacemaker installed. The MRI is to see what progress the chemo and radiation has accomplished so far. As for why she is losing blood, they don't understand.
Sis is a long way from being out of the woods and she is my only surviving sibling. Lost my 2 brothers to cancer. One in 2000 and one in 2010.
This is why I always say "Cancer Is Such An Ugly Word."
