This is my first time watching auction and I got a small screen with lot no. and price and a live voice I assume. Is this it ? Below it is a few past lots and prices. They are on timber wolves. Is there a way to see all lots sold or not ? Just trying to figure out for tomorrow. Thanks.

Usually the prices show up in the catalog.

That is basically it. The catalog pages should be updated as the auction moves along. If it sells, price paid will be shown. If it doesn't sell, it will say Bought Back, no price given.

With the new web site, it may take some time to work out the bugs. I'm not able to listen to it or see the screen, though it does show the most recent lots sold.

The new site works better than ever. I suspect some of us don't know much about computers or have very slow internet connections.

Wissmiss, I use Google Chrome as my browser and was seeing the same thing you describe. I just followed the instruction that was right there on the auction page to enable Flash in Chrome and I can see the board and hear the auctioneer as well as see the sales price by lot and the current auction page.

Hope you are enjoying the selling of the zoo as you call it.

Looks like black wolves are the ones wanted this year more than ever.

They are complete skins so likely rugs/mounts.Blacks always seem to bring good prices.I bet they sell good as incomplete also as long as the fur is good.

I'm assuming taxidermy trade. At those prices, too expensive for the trim trade. The incomplete blacks and section III blacks will be priced lower and thus more appealing to the trim trade.

Got the auction board screen to show. Now just have to figure out sound!! I'm not the smartest when it comes to computers!!

Wish that they auctioned like they do cattle auctions out here. The auctioneer is almost painful to listen to.

Did you try adjusting the volume?

Looks like the black timber wolfs out did the pale and extra pale. I hope that carries over to coyotes, most of mine are dark to dark brown. Thats a pipe dream, but then fashion is always changing. every thing wild goes tomorrow. Except sable, fisher, lynxcat, and dressed fur. Good luck to everyone that has a dog in the fight.

I noticed the same thing. In many cases the dark outsold the pales. The blacks were probably taxidermy. The report says, High clearances with better-than-expected results. It'll all come out in the wash

You guys surprised that the top lot heavies yotes only went about $35 above the next highest lot? I thought that was usually a pride thing and go for quite a bit more...

Blacks continue to sell well. It is the most requested color from my customers when it comes to wolves. Sadly, I am going to have to continue to inform my customers that blacks are only going up.

Let's see how much of a difference the coon regions make. I quite happy with my 30% of my small coon batch that were Western Northerns. We'll see if the good, bifg W. North-Centrals do...

Funny how all year all the talk was they want big coon this year don’t send anything smaller than a 3x. Only thing selling are the smaller coon. Half my coon have sold and it’s the 2x and smaller. Overall for what I trap, the market moved lateral not up. I’m not complaining just stating what I noticed.
