Posco trapper Joined: Nov 2017 Posts: 11,353 Maine, Aroostook	I've been playing around fleshing beaver over my knee with a beaver peeler. This might be a Russel, not sure as there are no markings on it. It might go back to the 1860s, I don't know, but it's neat to use early tools.

I HAD a Wiebe Elite, it's a decent knife, I got rid of it after my first raccoon with the Steinmeyer. Lee's knife is 10× better than the Wiebe. When life gets me down..... you know hunting/trapping season is closed.
