Tracks have been elusive , droppings even harder to find, but this morning. Tracks on 80% of the properties I trap

But freeze, thaw, rain, freeze ect ect ect have made it hard to keep set operating for the few times coyotes have shown up

I had five frozen sets that had coyote dance festivals on them

And the first picture is where I pulled a set that I caught a mud ball of a coon in last week

THe second picture is a set that I have caught 2 coyotes and 2 boar coon in already. This is the second time it's been raided while frozen solid

I had actually told myself when I got up this morning "if I don't see sign this morning I'm pulling the canine line"

Guess I'm still trapping

Ok whine over !!!!

So you got visits but sets were not worked, and traps were not working?

Traps frozen Each set that was visited had prints on pan The freeze rain snow melt cycle has killed me on catches. Yet when we were at -10 I was fully operational but then melt rain freeze snow melt rain freeze just seems like my timing of antifreeze application has sucked

Fought the same weather here absolute pain to keep traps working. Still have 3 out that I'm experimenting with wax sand to see how they handles the elements. I think I had 3 or 4 times with tracks on froze down trap.

Same story here too this season. Thank God for cables restraints or I wouldn't have any coyotes!

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!

Tracks are more than I got at most locations this year. I pulled during some intense weather conditions, and they all fired using peat moss.
