kjcouchey trapper Joined: May 2013 Posts: 168 South Dakota	Same boat as Law Dog, off about 25% had to trap alot harder for the coyotes i usually get, less mange this year tho, I'm in a predator control district as well were the Ranchers in their wisdom have a gfp sponsored pilot come out and gun down all the coyotes out of the sky.... does not help

Trav Mt. trapper Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 2,437 Montana	My foothold catch on coyotes is about 50% what is usually is. I went to snaring this year to save my coyote season. Gotta do what ya gotta do with these crazy high coyote prices. Cats were about average but some dry females this year. The one titty bellied female I caught was let go to make kittens. Trap hard today like there is no tomorrow.

foxhunter52 trapper Joined: Nov 2014 Posts: 520 Utah	We filled our 12 cat tags in a little over three weeks. Last year we caught 9 toms and 3 females. This year the exact opposite. No kittens in the last two years. I'm a bit concerned. Should I be? Coyotes were in pockets this year for us. But yes some areas where there have always been coyotes seemed empty. Couldn't even find sign in those areas. I'm sure low rabbits and bounty are playing a part.
