Thanks for your help

Lee Steinmeyer’s Death Ray!!!!
Also, I wish I would have listened to Lee and got the 2 footer instead of the 3 footer. I thought reach would be an issue, but I nose tap them now so I can place the cable exactly where I want it. I will be getting a 2 footer eventually.

Why is the 3 footer not as good as the 2 footer?

I have Lee's 3 footer, and I like it.

I ask if you use cages. If you say yes, then a three is the way to go. If you don't use cages, then a two is all you need. The longer they get, the harder they are to run, and the harder it is to catch the critter. Like DFabs said, a nose knock helps the life of the cable tremendously!

Yessir I will. I prefer to sell them in person so I can explain the nuances of the beast! There are a few things that make a difference for the life of it and making the cable last! Thanks.

Death Ray!! 40+ years of trapping, and one of the top three investments I have. And you won’t find a better guy than Lee.

Finally had to put the spare cable on mine. If wasnt using drags and pulling stuff out of brush without a little tap first i think i would be on the original. The original lasted several seasons btw. I just straightened out kinks when it got bit. Finally got kinked enough it wouldnt really stay open to good

I bought a 3'. Have NO complaints. Love it. Have 2 of them in-fact. Having Lee demo and explain the proper way to use and maintain the Death Ray is WELL worth it. I had a little trouble with my comprehension over the phone, but speaking with Lee in-person, at a convention, had me straightened out, and it kept my cable working the way it's supposed to all season long, and ready for next season. Lee is a good guy to boot, so it's a win-win.

How about a short video on its use? The placement nuance affecting the life of the cable and efficiency, keeps me from pulling the trigger.
