So it’s all cleaned up and oiled and ready to work. Problem is there are 2 speeds off and wide open. Just wondering if anyone knows how to make this sucker go slow lol.

Your belt may be too tight.Other than that just go easy on the foot pedal. It will take a bit of practice to get the right feel to stitch slow.

There are no gears on it-a friction plate.Just practice .Once you get going you will want the fast speed.

Mine machine seems to speed up the further I go. It is very hard to maintain a given speed. You don't ask for more, it just gives you more whether you want it or not .

I have a Bonis B model, it has a clutch pedal on it, the further you push it to the floor the faster it goes, let up it slows down and will stop if you take pressure off the pedal.

Yours probably due to being an older model is just a free wheel, so your belt does the speed when engaged, if it's to tight you have full speed, you may have to adjust your tension back until you learn how to run it.

Change one of the pulley sizes. That how they did it in the old days.
