I'm considering ordering a few of Kendall's traps to see how I like them but the regular X-treme looks a bit too large and heavy for my liking so I'm thinking about the Juniors. Those of you who own them, what are your likes and dislikes on the 4 coiled laminated model? Are they as fast and strong as they look? Coyotes are my primary target.

I had 4 that I tried and they were awesome on coyotes bit a little hard on fox . They are a heavy trap and that is what I think made them so hard on the fox. But overall they we're a great trap.

They are incredibly strong with a high lock up. I ended up taking 2 coils off because they were pretty hard to get off a live coyotes foot with just my hands trying to maneuver a catch pole. But if I were killing the coyotes I wouldnt change a thing.

High catch, strong, goes off well through material, heavy construction, love the large pan. Looking at a adding a few more and looked at other trap brands just can't pull away form K-9's.

I have been running Jr's and extremes. The extremes are hard on fox but I have found the Jr's to be really easy on them and they still hold all my coyotes and bobcats well.

Do something worthwhile, take a kid trapping

I have both, but I like the juniors better. I use the Extremes in trail sets now. I will be ordering more of the juniors.

I have several dozen of the Jr.s, 2 coil outside laminated OS. They are a great trap and do well on coyote, cats, and fox. I have caught both reds and grays and have had zero issues with damage. I catch a ton of coons in land sets and these traps do great on them too. Very rarely is there a mark on their foot. With a wire screen pan cover they are hard to beat.

I have the Jr.'s and love them!!!! I started out with the Extreme, but found it too large for my liking. Absolutely NO complaints with the Jr's!!!!!!!

I use the 2 coil, outside laminated models.

None of you find that the pan sit so low in the jaws that when bedding sometimes enough dirt gets under pan to cause issues?

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

I use polyfil under the pan so I've never had that problem. I do see how it could be possible though.

Thinking about buying some but, man, it's hard for me to drop 30 plus dollars per trap.

Cannot go wrong with the JR. They will hold anything it grabs including a wolf with the way the jaws are bolted instead of bent on the frame. Best part, there is no paw damage with the rounded and smooth jaws. Hard to beat a Made in USA traps for the price they are at.

On the website it says $32 for 2 or 4 coil with inside and outside laminations.

I wonder why there is an $8.00 difference between regular jaw and offset jaw?
