Got to watch a demo on frost scraping yesterday, bet no one can guess who this is and I’m glad it was a quick demo because the wind was brutally cold yesterday in North Bay

Do you have a final product picture? What does the scraper look like?

Cat catcher, if you do a search for frost scraping you’ll find a lot of content and details from Boco.

The coldest we've hit this winter is around -20. How cold does it have to be to make frost scraping effective? I'd like to give it a try.

-20f is minus 28c,so that would be adequate,as long as the frozen skin is not in direct sunlight.I like minus 25c or colder. The colder the better.Minus 35c or so it is effortless.

I about wore my fingers out yesterday trying to scrape a beaver hide. Timing this for a cold night will be the tricky part. Just leave it boarded and have another go at it when the temp plummets?
