If you have shoes like that I guarantee they will read on the inside "Hecho in Mexico"
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

I take it that's a road kill...? Do you have to report such a rare find to your state wildlife agency?
I know a number of people here (mostly libs) who are big into birding and other wildlife "seen" lists. The main one I know was very excited to watch a coatimundi empty a humming bird feeder while on he was on vacation in AZ over Christmas. Seeing your critter there, these people would be half wetting themselves because they had seen it in person and crying a river that it was dead.
How often do you see one of those things...?

How often do you see one of those things...? I have never seen one of these. A distant cousin of mine that lives in the State of Tamaulipas in Mexico sent me this picture. He said it was a Gato Montes Leopardus and is rare in his area East of Ciudad Victoria but several have been seen or killed there lately around Lake Guerrero.

I was thinking it was an ocelot (which would have made my critter list folks wet themselves if it would have been in TX) but I see that ocelots have stripes (more or less) instead of spots. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocelot
