I’ve had a ton of Fishers on my trail cams the last few years but haven’t been able to get one yet on our week long season we have here. I hope to get a hold of one though because they put such a hurting on our turkey population.

joepennanti, Nice Fisher. I caught my first one here in Pa. this year. I couldn't believe the size 12 lb. 13 oz., big male.

I had a great season. Caught my first ever fishers, one in NY and one in PA. Had a red fox-coyote double. Picked up a few more canines some rats and a couple mink. About done for this season and looking forward to next year already!!

Those fishers are a pain in the butt here. I try not to use anything too meaty as a bait because of them. Not the most pleasant animal to release from a foothold either.
I’ve had good success catching coyotes on a fisher catch circle.

I had two misses last night. Here the pan is right in between his two footprints you can see next to the log. He just didn’t commit enough I guess. Does anyone have any advice to keep this from happening again?
