Any of you folks try making wide 330s ? Would like just another 2 inches wide like the Species Specific 330W. But for a little less cost. Yes I am cheap, that is half the fun. BS

Ive made some 5x7's out of 5x5's. I did mine the hard way but if you can find some tubing just bigger than the jaws you can slip a short piece of same size rod into the tubing, insert jaws then weld. Or find someone that can drill out a slightly bigger rod to accept the jaws then weld.

Sniper, when you made those 5x7s did you stick with the stock springs or move on up to the next largest bodygrip spring. I am thinking of making some 5x7s do to a regulation change.

I kept the same springs. They are plenty strong enough
