Dirty D the small coons are for learning on and in December here we just don't shoot a lot of small ones. I like to be efficient and I've skinned a lot of coon in the dark which makes me fairly quick at it. There are a lot of nights they keep me busy and its just easier for me to stay in the one spot to skin but them skinning is important. If they did it all I think it would make it all work and no fun for them. I would like to see at least one of them carry it on after I'm gone.

Brings tears to my eyes. Its been almost 50 years since my best dog days. But sometimes at nite I think I can still hear Ole Ring down at a big sycamore barking treed telling me to get down there. Its all gone now and wont be long til I will be too.

Thanks for the pictures!

Yup that seems to be on the lower end of what one would anticipate coons of that size and grade would bring even in the grease. I put up coons for a friend, not many 30-60 per year and I do some of the larger ones and he has done much, much better shipping those and not a one of those are December coons, many are late October.
