Keep whining. What we in the SEC hear you saying is keep expanding the playoff until Bama has an off game or has half the team injured.
The best teams playing now are SEC schools, period. Bama and Georgia undeniably top tier. LSU capable as well. Florida and A&M coming on strong. Tennesee has the potential. Even Awburn could if they get their act together.
No playoff will be equitable with required conference play in some, independants without conference play, conference championships or not.

You can call it what you want. But it’s not a National Championship when only 4 teams get INVITED to participate. Let’s see....oh yeah....every level of football actually has a real playoff...except DI! Even high school can figure out how to do it.

Georgia and Ohio State would have both performed better. IMO. I know Ohio State has been bipolar, but at the end of the year they showed what they could do when they wanted to. We will find out in the rose bowl.

Why wouldn't they put Ohio State playing Georgia? If they we're the 5th and 6th ranked teams. Ohio State should have no problem with Washington which a unranked SEC team beat(Auburn) and I don't think Texas can hang with Georgia either. Would have loved to seen OSU vs Georgia
