I'm in the market for a new one. I need one that will LAST and I don't care about cost. I've heard that Carlis (sp) and Fur Shed Fab make the best ones, so I'm interested in those. Can someone post a picture of these two (especially the one from Carlis), or tell me where to get the best one available? Thanks!

I have one from Nightstalker1 on here. It has held up very well.

Fur Shed Fabrication makes the best one I've tried so far. Beat the crap out of it in our rocky soil and no give up in it so far.

Rednecktrapper- I know they will all eventually fail, but I want one that will last more than 1/2 a season! Yours looks good, by the way.

Thanks, Wade. Do you have a picture of the driver?

Does Tom Stalker have a website where I can see his driver?

I like the idea of the "floating handle", but I would be afraid I'd break it. How does that driver hold up, btomlin? I'm looking for something more solid. That driver looks like a shaft inside a sleeve, like the one in my pictures above. That is what I want to get away from.

It’s a solid rod. The upper rod is turned down a smidge so the handle can float and then it appears it is turned dwn again so the nut cant move once you have peened the end. Working for me so far. I am just a bird hunter that traps as hobby though, ie...I’m not very good at trapping. Lol.
You can search Stalker Fabrications on facebook if you have it. Fyi
