Put out a couple coyote sets last week and haven't had any visits yet. Wondering if or when to reapply salt to bed? There hasn't been any significant rain or snow since I put them in.

Touch them and see if they are froze If you are afraid of getting scent on yours sets. Put in a mock trap bed nearby and salt the same and use it for testing. I just use my gloves hand on my trap beds

It will very as to how long between applications based on your soil and location too. ie; clay, loamy, ag field, woods ect

I trap all diffent types so it can vary even with precipitation

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

I would pull them and move to new location.

Use cut grass or cut weeds on top of your trap and not dirt and you will not need as much salt over your traps to keep them working.
