It's been 6+ years so I guess that I'm either still in love or I have had several silent strokes. My money is on the silent stroke theory, just say'in. ANYWAY, The wife is working a third which (she is a supervisor) she rarely does, unless, as in this instance, it's to cover for another worker. So she goes to bed around 4pm and I decide to "pack her a lunch" I make her a turkey, lettuce and mustard sammich, (yup, gross but it was her request). Well, I can't send her off with only that so the menu is as follows:

1. Turkey lettuce and mustard sammich
2. Smoked (today) salmon fillet with crackers and hot sauce.
3. Smoked Gouda cheese for the leftover crackers
4. A sliced tomato with cottage cheese (seasoned of course)
5. An apple
6. A container that has dried figs, dates and salted almonds.
7. Two 6oz water bottles that I emptied out and filled with a homemade, cold cappuccino (double espresso shot) to give her a pick me up.

Oh yea, and a letter telling her that I love her and hope she has a good night.

Am I the husband of the year or what? Women, chime in, I need a pat on the back! grin

SOMEONE HELP ME! I NEED A NIGHT OUT WITH THE GUYS!

Well, to be honest, I treat my wife like a queen. She deserves it. She works hard and if I can provide a few "comforts", It's worth it. I married a good woman although, I reserve the right to bicker that point at any moment! grin

I would most likely like the letter, assuming it sounded sincere.

Note - I posted my first response before you added the sentence about the letter you included. But truth be told, I am "a hard woman to please" :):):)

If you can get her to do 3 shifts on a regular basis, you could trap full time

Let's go Brandon
