I have had them for a few years and never tried them out. I always just used my cable slip nooses for skinning on my puller. So today my buddy brought over a coyote to skin. He opened It up we place the button clips on the hide. Wow they worked to perfection no slippage and no tearing.
For Information just goggle It.

Toss the ball use it what's It's meant for. I can guarantee you that you don't need the ball with the cable. But these clips do work.

Beav, if you are talking about the button and wire clip that work like overall snaps yes I use them. I have had them many years and love the ease of witch they hook up. I did find it better to put the button in the leg below where you cut it off when boarding. The button sometimes leaves a pucker in the hide.
I used golf balls prier to the buttons and will never use the balls again as long as I have the buttons.

It looks like they don't offer the wire clip anymore. A fella could contact them about it.

Did a couple of coon with them today worked like magic. If they don't slip on a old greasy coon they aren't going to slip. Good bye cable slip nooses and vice grips. Do your self a favor and get some.
There are no pucker points you can't see where they were attached.
