Has any one ever used plastic Minnows on Conibear triggers for mink under water? I've used them on foot traps for raccoons and had good success

You might want to make sure the minnow on the pan isn't visible from above as sooner or later you're going to have a great blue heron by the bill if you've got 'em in the area.

So does the added minnow work any better than just a plane bottom edge set Death Dealer?

The set will work in the middle of a pool also. I couldn’t believe how a mink will work one of these. Make sure you follow your exposed bait laws if you have them. Don’s mink tried its best to get that rubber minnow off of the trigger.
